SECU Foundation provided a grant to assist in the construction of a $35 Million state of the art facility, the SECU Comprehensive Cancer Center at CarolinaEast Medical Center, which is set to be completed in 2018. The center will help to address the high incidence rate of cancer in Eastern North Carolina. A unique partnership with UNC Health will provide clinical research enabling the best in treatment and screening for cancer while allowing patients to remain close to home.
