My Aunt’s House - Forsyth County

SECU Foundation partnered with the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) to support the construction of My Aunt’s House located in Winston-Salem by providing a zero percent construction loan for the project. The purpose of the home is to provide a safe, stable environment to assist teen mothers to stay in school and learn parenting and self-sufficiency skills. The house includes six one-bedroom suites with private baths and two efficiency apartments, and provides adult supervision, case management and transportation to community services for pregnant and teen mothers in the program.
