SECU Cancer Center at Mission Hospital in Asheville

SECU Foundation partnered with Mission Healthcare Foundation to assist in the construction of the SECU Cancer Center. The five-story, 120,000 square foot building expands access of comprehensive cancer service to residents of western North Carolina.

The SECU Cancer Center, located on the campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville is affiliated with Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. The facility expands statewide research and educational opportunities for UNC-CH medical and pharmacy student. The overall objective of the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and the SECU Cancer Center is to reduce cancer occurrence and death in North Carolina, through research, treatment, training and outreach.
