SECU Memorial Walkway at the USS Battleship NORTH CAROLINA

SECU Foundation awarded a grant to The Friends of the Battleship North Carolina, Inc. to build the SECU Memorial Walkway, a half-mile long, ten-foot wide walkway that circles the USS Battleship NORTH CAROLINA and serves as a memorial to honor SECU Members and the 10,000 Veterans from North Carolina serving in World War II. The SECU Memorial Walkway, equipped with displays, signage, a quarterdeck, and five bump-out areas to honor each of the five military branches, helps to preserve the ship’s legacy while offering greater accessibility and educational value for future generations.
