Southern Pines Land & Housing Trust – Mission Development Grant

SECU Foundation awarded Southern Pines Land & Housing Trust (SPT) a $40,000 Mission Development Grant to help reinforce the Trust’s organizational development and assist with revitalization plans to repurpose the 1924 Rosenwald School into a community center. SPT was established in 2009 to preserve and enhance the historic African American community of West Southern Pines.
