Tried By Fire – Mission Development Grant

SECU Foundation awarded Tried By Fire a $40,000 Mission Development Grant to support the expansion of services and help address operational demands on the organization’s New Bern facility. Tried By Fire helps previously incarcerated women re-enter society by providing safe, supportive, and community-based housing. The service area for this non-profit includes Craven, Carteret, Beaufort, Greene, Jones, Pamlico, Onslow, and Pitt counties.
