SECU Foundation awarded Veterans Life Center (VLC) a grant to assist in the construction of a 100-bed residential facility for 21st century at-risk male and female veterans in Butner, North Carolina. VLC provides residents with the tools to enjoy a constructive and satisfying role in civilian life by strengthening mental fitness and physical health, improving life skills, providing vocational training, and assisting with career opportunities. The Veterans Life Center - SECU Veterans Residence will provide aid to homeless and at-risk veterans in North Carolina working towards their recovery and self-reliance.
