SECU Foundation partnered with the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) to help With Friends, Inc. build a residential maternity home by providing a zero percent construction loan for the project. This licensed maternity home provides transitional housing for 6 pregnant teens or parenting girls with infants who are homeless or displaced. Residents are provided an individual service plan consisting of housing, education, employment goals, training and other child-related services. The facility is located in a residential neighborhood in west Gastonia.
